Working on unleashing and transforming my inner rage
as brought about by my own ignorance, as well as responses and feelings
in relation to what neoconservative agendas and values are doing to modern society.
ARTiculating and expressing this via visual & photographic methods
is therapeutic,
productive and satisfying.
The so-called ‘New Age’ movements unfolding,
naturally has had its ups & downs for this experiencer.
It’s unfortunate that some‘Mumbo Jumbo’ merchants
are cashing in while misusing the ‘potentials’ of the ‘movement’
on a detour away from enlightenment.
However remaining optimystic for the ongoing unfolding deep ecologic power
of the grass roots movement to organically evolve us toward enlightened possibilities continues…
Mixing a sense of anarchy and a need to activate change
in the governmental structures that impact ones life.
I choose to utilize
the voting systems to fight against & change them.
By using these imposed systems I don’t believe disempowers, corrupts
or prevents one totally from using disobedient methods also.
If greater numbers of people were voting with deep ecologicool consciousness
then all beings wouldn’t be suffering the excesses of the materialists and un-ethical capitalists.
Kicking out the right wing like the Spanish did recently in a modern day revolt
against involvement in the war in & on Iraq was an inspiring example of this.
Acting in social democratic systems may be crucial in the resistance of
and prevention of Global fascist militias,
privatised armies and mercenary companies the likes of Haliburton.
Yes politics is still a corrupt game theses days,
so if humins are to make it
an accountable and more effective means of change
then navigating the political
environment is a relevant life skill,
and apolitical people seem to be opting out of the real world
into some escapist fantasy and potentially consciously or unconsciously
opting for some transcendent fantasy or as many are doing some consumerist nightmare.
Yes blame culture has its irresponsive aspects, and compassion is the way forward.
Hierarchicalist dominators, war and fear mongers will rise and fall.
It’s not as easy as being the passive viewer,
as being the creator
of something with deeper values and qualities
that enlightens people and is worthy of their attention.
So on with nurturing real freedom and real sustainability.
Healing perspectives and perceptions will evolve our interconnected unfolding being,
words just being one of our many abilities to form
the formless way of truth and authenticity.

Cijam Inspiration: |

Inspirational people for cijam are Ken Kesey,
who was one of the instigators of the merry Pranksters
and a key player in the psychedelic movement;
he also lived a ‘down to earth’ lifestyle on a little farm
and was an active and culturally supportive member of the community.
Mike Patton is also a mysterious and prolific musical figure
whose work is intense,
expansive, and pushes boundaries in its explorations and meanings.
He’s not the type to suffer fools and the foolish aspects of cijam’s make-up.
Well, diverse attitudes are cool by thee even if they’re a bit chilly at times.
Starhawk is an inspiration of earth consciousness and magic,
enjoyed merry meeting her, doing ceremony, ritual,
sitting down and communing with her, what a wonderfeelin’ goddess.
Inspired by the activist community – a role model to get ya s%t together,
so a motivating force when they don’t cold shoulder you.
Dig it when they’re warm, open and inviting
of whatever involvement you’re able to offer.
Combat Wombat, Jamin & Die Laughing Collective,
savvy political and culture jamming artist groups & people.
Dubuffet the artist and theArt Brut movement which explored
‘primitive’(a loaded word) and intuitive passions and expressions
(the mimesis has little role) letting instinctual expression come out
in its raw organic form.
Have experienced some of his cave like art installation pieces, which gave me tingles.

Shadowsense has a passion for working with subtle healing modalities :
kinesiology, aromatherapy, flower essences, to access innate healing systems.
Balancing time utilising creative tools to sensitively explore inner worlds
of emotion and feeling through music and visual art.
Shadowsense aims to produce unique music of an acoustic and electronic nature.
The visual art originates, from my own photography,
and takes the form of both moving and still images.
Aiming to stimulate a curiosity and sense of wonder for nature,
